Privacy Policy
TG Saver is a personal, self-hosted tool operated by its account owner. It is not offered to the public or to multiple users.
Information processed
The service processes media and documents the operator chooses to send to their own Telegram Saved Messages. It stores task metadata on the operator's server, such as Telegram message identifiers, file names, sizes, task status, and error information. Media is temporarily stored on that server while it is downloaded and uploaded.
The service uses a Telegram session file to access the operator's account and an rclone configuration containing Google OAuth credentials. These files are stored on the operator's server with restricted file permissions.
Google user data
The operator authorizes Google Drive access through rclone. The configured Google OAuth grant may permit broader Drive access than the service's normal workflow needs. The service is designed to upload only media selected by the operator to the configured Drive folder and check the destination item's metadata and size. It does not intentionally inspect unrelated Drive content, use Google data for advertising, sell data, or make files public. Google necessarily processes data transferred to its Drive service.
Files uploaded to Google Drive remain there until the operator deletes them. Local temporary media is removed only after the service confirms the remote file size; interrupted or failed tasks may leave temporary files on the server until retried or cleaned.
Service providers and storage
Telegram provides the source messages, Google provides Drive storage and OAuth, and the operator's Oracle Cloud server runs the service. Data is transmitted to those services as needed to perform the requested backup. The server operator may access the server's files and operational logs.
Retention and control
Queue metadata remains in the local database until the operator removes the service data. Temporary files are normally deleted after verified upload, but may remain for failed or interrupted tasks. The operator can revoke Google access in their Google Account security settings, remove the rclone configuration, stop the service, and delete server-side data. Drive copies must be deleted separately from Google Drive.
